Venavi Drums was established in 2001 by Atsu Awoonor a former Primary School teacher with QTS and a Music Specialist teacher. Atsu Awoonor has worked as a primary school teacher in the London Boroughs of Barnet, Wandsworth and Enfield where he retired. Atsu has been running drumming workshops and after school clubs in and around London including the London boroughs of Haringey, Hackney, Enfield, Brent, Westminster City, Barnet, Redbridge, Bromley, Richmond, Newham, Islington , Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. This wealth of experience in working with children and young people of all ages (from infant to sixth form) including special schools and Adult Education Colleges is now available to all educational institutions in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Venavi Drums provides weekly half-day and full-day curriculum time drumming workshops to interested schools, including special schools right from nursery to six form and adult education colleges.
